Velvet plum necklace decorated with extensive beadwork, point lace and goldwork. It's another precious piece by our free-spirited artist who describes her creative process as when she gets started, it's like being in a parallel universe. She can't be bothered with the measurements or requirements. She is only focused on creating her art piece and the adjustments could be done afterward. We never interfere with her process and are always amazed by the final piece.
Halicarnassus was an ancient Ionian Greek city of Caria, located on the Gulf of Cerameicus in Anatolia. The mausoleum at Halicarnassus was considered to be such an aesthetic triumph that was identified it as one of his Seven Wonders of The Ancient World. It was destroyed by successive earthquakes from the 12th to the 15th century, the last surviving of the six destroyed wonders.
